The Problem
This community experienced hail and wind storms at the community. Additionally, the shingle used was discontinued with no like and kind repair options. Therefore, the community needed a solution likely through insurance to get their community back to pre-loss condition.
The Solution
The property management company managing the community of 42 units asked Bird’s Eye Roofing to inspect all roofs. Bird’s Eye Roofing’s main inspector inspected and documented all damage of the buildings. Once documented, drones were used to take pictures to send to the insurance company.
Results
The insurance company approved the full replacement of the community. After approval, Bird’s Eye Roofing worked with the HOA to make sure the scope matched what their community needed to ensure the buildings remained water tight over the next several years. Once the scope was agreed, the project began.
Bird’s Eye Roofing completed the 42 unit roof replacement over a two week span. The speed of the project was enabled with two types of lifts that were delivered to the property which improved the speed and quality of the project.
CertainTeed Landmark Weathered Wood was installed as it would closely match the exterior of the buildings, and provide the highest quality shingle. The community was very pleased with the efficiency of the work, and quality, and remain a strong referral source for Bird’s Eye Roofing Company.
