Cheap Hip and Ridge Shingles

Using 3-tab or field shingles are a common way for contractors to cut costs when installing architectural shingles.  This is something Bird's Eye Roofing does not do.  Installing 3-tab shingles on architectural shingle roofs:

• Often don’t match
• The wind warranty is 60mph instead of 130mph so they are must more likely to blowoffs and repairs
• Their material warranty is shorter than architectural shingles so they won’t last as long and will have to be replaced earlier in the roof’s life

Standard Hip and Ridge Shingles

Hip and ridge shingles are used to cap where two roof planes come together at an angle.  All manufacturer offer architectural hip and ridge shingles to match the shingle on the rest of your roof.
